How to Apply Liquid Foundation (Tutorial)
Here are the steps to apply flawless foundation to your skin:
Let’s take these tools with us and follow the steps below.
To wash your face, use a cleanser. This will remove any oil or dirt that could cause your skin to look oily and dull. Use a towel to dry your face.
Moisturizer is essential for all skin types, oily and dry. Moisturizer helps to hydrate your skin and keeps it looking radiant. If you’re going to be outside, sunscreen must also be applied. You must wait for five minutes before you move on to the next step.
To blur pores and make your foundation look smooth, you only need two pumps of primer. Use your fingertips to apply the primer to your forehead, around your mouth, and other areas that need blurring. Tap it gently and don’t drag your skin.
Apply liquid foundation to your face with the back of your hands. Concentrate on areas that require coverage such as the chin, around your mouth, and the pigmented regions.
For extra glow, you can mix your foundation with liquid highlighter or face oil. You should use less. Use only a tiny bit.
Two pumps of setting spray are enough to dampen your foundation brush (a flat-top stippling brush, or Kabuki) with two pumps. Use a quick, gentle stamping motion to evenly spread the foundation over your neck, face, and ears.
Use a sponge/ beauty blender to dampen the foundation and rub it all over your face.
This step can be skipped. This step is optional if you have acne scars or hyperpigmentation. Use your fingertips to apply a few drops and blend the outer edges.
