Mascara is my desert island make-up. I don’t care if nobody sees my beautiful, long lashes after I wash them ashore. They are mine. I do take my mascara trials very seriously. My Review

As I mentioned, mascara is my favorite thing. I also love it so much that I sometimes fall into the bad habit of applying too much mascara until my lashes look like stubby black spikes. It takes just one swipe to make mascara go from «almost there», to complete disaster. It was always my assumption that the mascara was at fault.

However, Byredo’s Astronomical Mascara showed me that I was giving too much credit to other formulas. A heavy mascara is not necessary if you use the right mascara. Each layer was as easy as the previous one when using the Astronomical Mascara. Each layer was separated by the brush so they didn’t clump, despite growing thicker, darker, and longer with each coat. It was so dramatic and fun. This mascara is now my go-to mascara if I’m ever cast on Survivor and left on an island.
