Kim Kardashian and her extra-long manicure

Kim Kardashian is shifting her loyalty to Team Long Nails. The Skims and SKKN founder Kim is now showing off another set super-long nails in shocking electric green, just a few days after she showed off a razor-sharp French manicure during the Baby2Baby gala.

Kardashian wore a Y2K-inspired look to a holiday event for her skin-care company. She wore a baggy, high-waisted pair of jeans and a silver cut out bodysuit with a matching silver trench. Her blonde hair was swept back in casual waves and she wore silver wrap sunglasses and a small Balenciaga bag. This icy outfit was completed with a slime green manicure. This is a departure from Kardashian’s usual preference for more subtle and neutral colors in her wardrobe.

Kardashian’s bright neon green outfit was complemented by the manicure, which was filed in a thin stiletto shape. Although it is a stark contrast, the lime manicure harkens back to the late-’90s and early-’00s just like Kardashian’s metallic silver jacket. We would believe you if you said that this manicure was on the set for a Y2K song video.

Kardashian claimed that her most recent French manicure was done with press-ons. It’s therefore likely that the lime set is also made of press-ons. She previously stated that she is on Team Short Nails. This was because the long sets she favored by some of her sisters made it difficult for her to type and do her homework at law school. We are used to seeing Kardashian wearing neutral nails, but this is a great way for her to break out of her manicure routine. What’s next, Kim? Hot pink? Neon yellow?
