Christmas dinner is a great time to get together with family and friends. But, you might have to deal some personality types you don’t want to meet. We’ve got the solution for you.

Christmas is just over a week away. That means it’s time for you to get into the Christmas spirit.

Soon, we will be opening Christmas presents and watching Christmas movies, as well as drinking copious amounts and enjoying the company of our friends and family while enjoying a wonderful Christmas dinner.

The one thing we fail to acknowledge about the Christmas dinner is the diversity of personalities that we have to deal with while we feast on turkey and brussels, and then drown in brandy to soothe some family members.

There are always those uncles who drink too much and give out more information than necessary, relatives who know everything and don’t let anyone speak up. And there is the picky eater who only eats the exact same thing each year. Which of these personalities will you see at your Christmas dinner table? And, most importantly, who are you?

Green Chef conducted a research study that examined the emotions and habits of 2,000 adults over Christmas Day in an effort to shed light on some of the most common tendencies during this festive season.

Research found that one-sixth (15%) of us have a tendency to worry about pleasing others around Christmas. Meanwhile, 6% of Brits admit to being the Grinch. This is someone who lacks the festive spirit on one of most joyous days of the year.

Judi James, a psychologist and expert in body language, has shared seven of the most common Christmas personalities with the British public to help them understand.

The generous one

A generous personality type is someone who treats everyone around Christmas and especially on the big day, giving gifts, food and attention to everyone.

The chatter

They are a talker who can’t seem to stop talking. But they are the one you want to meet because they are great at conversation and keep the good vibes flowing.

Diplomat

Christmas can bring out the worst in people. Christmas can bring out the best in people. They are the ones who diffuse friction and rows and want to maintain peace at all costs.

The stressful one

Some people enjoy a relaxed Christmas while others want it to be perfect. They often set unrealistic goals for themselves in terms of food, present shopping and party organizing.

The Grinch

One relative acts as if they don’t want you there. They’re often called the Grinch. They are the ones that make you grump, moan and tut their way through the day.

The picky one

The picky eater can be just like the Grinch. They often make food selections more difficult due to their dietary restrictions.

The happy one

Preparation before Christmas is as important as the big event for an excited personality who can’t sleep at night and loves everything about it.
